    Take I-5 South
    Take exit 169 toward NE 45th St
    Merge onto 5th Ave NE
    Turn left at NE 45th St

PARKING SUGGESTIONS

  1. UW Parking Permit: If you have a UW parking permit, it can be used in the UW Tower garage (W45). Entrance is on 12th Ave NE in the middle of the block between NE45th and NE43rd Streets. There is no parking attendant but the garage is patrolled. Follow signs to the west garage. (The east garage is pay-by-space parking only.) After parking, take the passage way on 2W to the 3rd floor of the East Garage (3E). An in-door bridge over 12th Ave NE will take you to the UW Tower.
  2. Nearby Lot: A relatively inexpensive lot is on 12th Ave NE just north of NE 45th Street on the west side of the street. Fees are $2/0-2 hours, $4/2-4 hours, and $7/4-10 hours.
  3. Street Parking: Metered street parking is available around the UW Tower. The fee is $2/hour. Be sure to watch for 4-6 p.m. NO PARKING signs.
  4. UW Tower Garage:Pay-by-space parking is $3/hour or $15/day. The machine can be confusing. When you key in your parking space number, you will be given three choices: 15 Minute Increments, $15 All Day or Pre-Arranged Parking. Select “15 Minute Increments.” When it shows 15 minutes, you must enter your payment (VISA, MasterCard accepted) before you can add more time.

GETTING TO YOUR UWCNE MEETING OR CLASS at UW Tower

  1. Sign in at the security desk.
  2. For meeting/class on the 22nd floor, take the elevators up without an escort.
  3. For meeting/class on the 11th floor, someone from UWCNE has to meet you in the lobby. Security will call UWCNE for you at 206-543-1047.
