Driving Directions:

Traveling I-5 South—Take the 45^th Street exit from I-5 (exit # 169.) At the traffic light at NE 45^th Street turn left heading east (towards the main UW Seattle campus.) At 12^th Ave NE (5 blocks) turn right heading south. In the middle of block turn right into the parking garage. (See parking directions below.)

Traveling I-5 North—Take the 45^th Street exit from I-5 (exit # 169.) At the traffic light get into the right hand turn lane. Turn right onto NE 45^th Street heading east (towards the main UW Seattle campus.) At 12^th Ave NE (5 blocks) turn right heading south. In the middle of block turn right into parking garage. (See parking directions below.)

Parking Directions:

Prearranged CNE meeting or visit:

Tell the gate attendant that you are visiting Continuing Nursing Education in the UW Tower. They will check a list provided to them by CNE and charge the CNE budget. After parking your car, take the stairs or elevator to the 3^rd floor Skybridge that takes you over 12^th NE Ave into the UW Tower complex. At the security desk, tell them that you are visiting CNE on the 11^th floor. If they do not have you on a list they will call CNE at 206-543-1057 to get an okay.

Other CNE business:

Tell the gate attendant that you are visiting Continuing Nursing Education in the UW Tower. You will be charged in advance for parking—CASH ONLY. The rates are $6 before 9:30 a.m. and $8 after 9:30 a.m. There are no pro-rated refunds. (There is no computer system in the garage at this time to compute refunds.)

Street parking and other available parking:

There is street parking using Seattle city parking meters on the surrounding city streets. The fee is around $3 for 2 hours. (Prepay at the meters.) Parking fees on the street or in any other lot cannot not be reimbursed by CNE. Only parking prearranged in the UW Tower parking garage on 12^th Ave NE can be paid by CNE.

Directions to CNE offices when in the UW Tower complex:

Building hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Entrance off Brooklyn into main UW Tower lobby:

Stop at the security desk and have them check the list provided by CNE for visitors expected that day. Tell them you are visiting Continuing Nursing Education on the 11^th floor. If they need to call CNE, the main phone is 206-543-1047. Take the elevators closest to the security desk to the 11^th floor. As you exit the elevators, CNE offices are on the south side of the building.

Entrance from parking garage using the 12^th Ave Skybridge (3^rd floor in garage):

Stop at the security desk and have them check the list provided by CNE for visitors expected that day. Tell them you are visiting Continuing Nursing Education on the 11^th floor. If they need to call CNE, the main phone is 206-543-1047. Walk through the glass enclosed atrium to elevators that go to the 11^th floor. As you exit the elevators, CNE offices are on the south side of the building.
