Self Study Courses for Nurses and Other Health Care Professionals

UWCNE offers a variety of self study options for busy health care professionals like you. Courses can take from 1/2 to 8 hours, but you can work at your own pace, and you'll have six months to finish. Whether you're looking for a simple overview of a nursing health care topic or pursuing prescriptive authority, you can find a course to suit your needs.

Course Format Format Description
Go to Online Format Self Study.
Online Format: Read and/or view a presentation on your computer, take an electronic post-test, and print your own certificate. A record of all your online classes is kept for you. You'll need a computer and DSL or cable internet connection. Register and get your class immediately.

Go to CD-DV Format Self Study.
CD Format: Class comes in the mail with CD set, you return the post-test and evaluation by mail or FAX, we mail a certificate to you. Takes more time to process, but doesn't require a computer.   See a sample.
