Course description
This 2-day didactic course provides participants with training in the most recent developments in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of prevalent STDs. An optional 2-day clinical practicum is available to participants who complete this course.
Objectives for learning outcomes
After completing this activity, participants will be better able to:
- Describe the latest clinical and laboratory diagnostic procedures for the sexually transmitted infections covered.
- List the current recommended treatments, follow-up procedures and prevention messages for the sexually transmitted infections covered.
Intended audience
This course is designed for providers and clinicians who see clients at risk for sexually transmitted disease.
