Course description

This 2-day didactic course provides participants with training in the most recent developments in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of prevalent STDs. An optional 2-day clinical practicum is available to participants who complete this course.

 

 

Objectives for learning outcomes

​After completing this activity, participants will be better able to:

  • Describe the latest clinical and laboratory diagnostic procedures for the sexually transmitted infections covered.
  • List the current recommended treatments, follow-up procedures and prevention messages for the sexually transmitted infections covered.

Intended audience

Clinical talks to cancer patient.This course is designed for providers and clinicians who see clients at risk for sexually transmitted disease.
