Antwinett O. Lee, EdD, MSN-CNS, BSN, RN

Antwinett O. Lee, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Michigan State University, (1983), Master of Science in Nursing, Seattle University (1997), Doctor of Education, Seattle University (2017). Dr. Lee’s clinical background is vast including practice as a clinical nurse specialist in continuing care, home health and hospice, as well as in public health, surgical oncology and general medicine. Administratively, Dr. Lee most recently served as the Director of Nursing for the Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech in Kirkland, WA. There, she led nursing faculty in curriculum development, pedagogy and instructional design. Under her leadership, their program successfully completed secondary accreditation through ACEN. Prior to her Director role at LWTech, she served as the Director of the Clinical Performance Laboratory. Her experience as a corporate educator for McKesson Health Solutions is yet another example of the broad array of teaching expertise that she brings to SPU Nursing. Dr. Lee has taken an active role in supporting the nursing profession with her many appointments to service organizations. She is currently serving as president of the King County Nurses Association Board of Directors. She is a member of Mary Mahoney Professional Nurses Organization, Washington Center for Nursing (WCN) and serves on the Professional Nursing Health Care Council of Washington State Nurses Association. Dr. Lee is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.
