About this Conference

This conference offers healthcare providers an opportunity to validate and enhance clinical competencies, acquire new assessment and management skills, examine critical issues in health care at the state and national level, network with colleagues in advanced practice, and learn about new products, services and pharmacotherapeutic agents. Conference faculty include distinguished national, regional and local experts. Concurrent sessions allow participants to design their own educational tracks in the areas of acute, adolescent, adult, family, geriatric, midwifery, pediatric, psychosocial and women’s health care. In addition, workshops on Sunday and special interest group meetings on Monday and Tuesday provide a broad spectrum of learning opportunities for providers in all settings. Teaching methods include lecture, discussion, case studies, demonstration and practica.

Have you created a practice improvement project or developed an innovative educational strategy, clinical program or research project that highlights improvements in health care delivery, education, research or policy? We invite you to submit a poster abstract. Once your poster is approved, you will automatically be entered into our Best Poster of 2016 Contest. The contest winner will receive a complimentary admission for a 2017 AP half-day workshop and will be announced at our Cake Reception on Tuesday afternoon.

Certificates are available in two forms for your convenience.

  • Digital Certificates - online
    • Add your total pharm credits using the carbon Certificate Form or the conference brochure.
    • Self report the amount of pharmacology hours you earned during the conference for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
    • After self-reporting your pharm credits, get your certificate at My Account > My Activities and click on Download Certificate.
    • PLEASE NOTE: Your digital certificate will not be complete until you self-report your pharm credits.
  • Paper Certificates - at conference
    Fill out the carbon certificate form at the conference to keep track of which sessions you attended. You will self-report the pharmacology hours by adding up the pharm hours listed on the form for the sessions you attended. Please store the certificate as well as a copy of the brochure in a safe place, in case you need it for licensure later.
Day of Event
Recharging StationsPower stations are available in the registration area. Power is not available in the conference rooms.
Your battery will last longer if you put your device in airplane mode while attending a session.
WiFiFree WiFi is limited to public areas of the conference center. Download your handouts to your device before you go to a session. 
Food and ClothingBreakfast: We try to be sensitive to many common dietary restrictions in planning our complimentary food menu. However, if you have special dietary needs, please bring food items that will meet your individual nutritional requirements. Breakfast will be served Monday and Tuesday only. Lunch is on your own. 
Temperature in rooms: Temperatures can fluctuate throughout the day. Please dress in layers.
