About This Conference:
This one-day workshop includes an overview of the standards, guidelines and administrative laws that apply to I.V. therapy, hands-on practice with peripheral venous access catheters, a discussion of routine care and maintenance of current and widely used peripheral and central venous access devices and a review of the new 2016 INS Standards of Practice. Teaching methods for this workshop include lecture, interactive discussion and hands-on practice.
