|AM1: Fundamentals of12-Lead ECG: Part 1 |
This workshop presents the fundamentals of dissecting the 12-lead ECG. Focus is on changes in various waves and segments that identify axis, atrial and ventricular hypertrophy and bundle branch blocks. Content includes patterns of ischemia, injury and infarction, strips of WPW, pericarditis, hyperkalemia and long QT interval. A systematic approach to analyzing a 12-lead ECG with practice strips is used. Prerequisite: Learner must have SOLID basic skills in reading ECGs. May be taken alone or in sequence with PM1.

This workshop takes an in-depth look at the most recent, evidence based advancements in epidemiology, diagnosis, and management of viral and bacterial STDs, and will be provided by faculty from the University of Washington's STD Prevention Training Center, a member of the National Network of STD Clinical Prevention Training Centers (NNPTC). The NNPTC is a CDC-funded group of training centers providing health professionals with a spectrum of state-of-the-art educational opportunities including experiential learning with an emphasis on STD treatment and prevention.
