Course description

This set of individual courses provides basic knowledge of I.V. therapy practice for nurses and other members of the healthcare team. You can register for any or all courses listed below. Each course includes a downloadable workbook, videos, post-test and evaluation. To earn contact hour credit for a course, you must achieve 80% on the post-test. If you wish to take all the courses listed below, we recommend registering instead for the 30-hour I.V. Therapy Online Program, which provides additional coursework and contact hours. 

Target audience

Nurses and other members of the healthcare team who work with intravenous lines (peripheral and central venous access devices), including nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, midwives and physician assistants.
