Target Audience

The series is designed for healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nuse practitioners, physical and occupational therapist, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists and other interested professionals.

Objectives for Learning Outcomes

1. Discuss the practical ways of supporting caregivers of Alzheimer's patients throughout the course of the disease and even after the death of a patient, with focus on addressing grief and loss. 
2. Describe available resources for caregivers including primary palliative care. 
3. Recognize and address signs and symptoms of caregiver burnout/stress.
