Target Audience

The series is designed for healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nuse practitioners, physical and occupational therapist, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists and other interested professionals.

Objectives for Learning Outcomes

1. Participants will be able to discuss the most common kinds of sleep and nocturnal disturbances in dementia.
2. Participants will be able to identify the most common causes of sleep disturbances in persons with dementia.
3. Participants will be able to apply evidence-based treatments for managing sleep disturbances in dementia.
