This course discusses the preferred therapies for initial treatment and retreatment (of prior relapsers) of patients who have genotype 1 chronic HCV. Also discussed is the preferred therapy for retreatment of patients with HCV genotype 1 chronic infection who have failed therapy with a prior nonresponse (partial response or null response).
