This module will focus on medications for migraine prevention and acute treatment.

Objectives for Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be better able to:

  1. Name 3 psychotropic medications used in headache.
  2. Describe how to select these medications for certain types of headache in patients with selected psychiatric conditions.
  3. Describe how transcranial magnetic stimulation is used in psychiatry as well as in migraines.
