Moving Forward: The Patient Perspective

Course Description

Ron Weaver founded A Way Forward after escalating doses of opioids for his chronic pain condition landed him in the hospital. When he realized that while healthcare providers working with him would talk about the dangers of the drugs in the context of addiction, they were not prepared to discuss alternatives for the chronic pain patient, Ron decided to find his own way forward.
