Objectives for Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course work the learner will be able to:

  1. Discuss the meaning of culture in today's world. 
  2. Identify variations in one's personal beliefs about diverse people. 
  3. Discuss attributes other than race that contribute to differences among people. 
  4. Describe changes in immigration patterns. 
  5. Identify resources for planning care for patients with individual differences. 
  6. Examine the healthcare system to determine how best to serve diverse populations.
